Ntfonjeni Young Stars sail through to Build It National Finals

The games began on a high note with eight teams competing in the well-attended games hosted annually throughout the kingdom by the EswatiniFootball Association (EFA) in partnership with Build It.

PIGGS PEAK- Ntfonjeni Young Stars sailed through to the next round of the Build It Under 13 tournament. It was a combination style, skills, brilliant saves and excitement for the winners at Killerly sports ground. The winning team will represent the Piggs Peak region in the national
finals which will be held on a date yet to be announced. The games began on a high note with eight teams competing in the well-attended games hosted annually throughout the kingdom by the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) in partnership with Build It. Ntfonjeni teams dominated the
games, defeating two teams from Piggs Peak which saw them battling it out for the number one spot. The boys were given complimentary prizes in trophies, medals and bags branded Build It just to empower them to continue playing and fight to be the best.

Ntfonjeni Young Stars FC’s Sizwe Nkambule was chosen as the overall best player and walked away with the Build It U13 best player. Eswatini Football Association Marketing and Communications Manager Muzi Radebe said as an organization they were very pleased with the manner in which youngsters supported the games. He said the association’s purpose is to ensure that football is developed throughout the country and produce soccer players that can compete at any tournament. “We are working toward seeing them possess all the necessary skills that would enable them to compete internationally and even grow up to be the Messi’s of this country,” he added.
