The overall total pocketed by the champs shot up to E 25 000 from the E 21 000 first prize. The runnersup of the playoffs were PMT FC which was awarded E 8 000 and a trophy. Speaking during the presentation, Eswatini Football Association Vice President Peter Samora Simelane urged the teams to protect the sponsors support by promoting a violent free environment during games and by also marketing them in their respective communities. On behalf of the Hhohho Regional Football Association General Secretary Nigel Shongwe thanked the sponsor for its continued support which has enabled them to promote a few teams to the National First
Division and Premier League of Eswatini. Teams that were promoted include Tinyosi, Vovovo and Mbabane Citizens
to name a few. Shongwe added, “We do not want to promote teams that will be relegated and come back but we want to pride ourselves in seeing our teams dominating in the other leagues as HRFA.” He went on to say they look forward to the continued support from the sponsor. Nkhanyeti Ngwenya, speaking on behalf of sponsor, said they no longer
regarded themselves as a sponsor but as a stakeholder in football. Ngwenya noted that a stakeholder is like a partner that would always be there, today, tomorrow as long as the teams are committed into playing and portraying fair games. He also pointed out that they value relationships and associate with people who have a good reputation
in the society. “Due to the good relationship that has existed between Swazi Trac and the football fraternity, we saw it pertinent to add to our sponsorship the Shiselweni league onto the Lubombo and Hhohho leagues we are currently sponsoring,” he further said.
