Startup Grind Mbabane continues
to bring you the best!
It is common that many artists struggle and they die struggling while waiting for bookings. Over the past years, we have seen artist advocate and teach other artists about the industry. It is indeed an artistic industry, many have to be creative about how to make their money to meet ends meet, feed their families all whilst investing in building their brands. With 22 years experience in arts, Larry Mhlanga was a struggling artist from Zimbabwe. He has seen it all, experienced all the hardships and he decided to take that stage creativity, put it on paper and go for entrepreneurship in the very same industry he works on. He saw a gap in the arts in Swaziland and he took
a leap of faith. Through his business, Tall Tree Talent Management he has managed brands like Mdura, Switch, Stitch, Elfoe, Pelepele and many more. Through his ideas he has provided employment and careers for many youth not only in Mbabane but across the country. He has taken Pelepele on a world tour and is now serving in the MTN SWAMA
committee. How does he do it and how does he turn around an industry that is loved by many but hated equally by
many due to its lack of sustainability? Come find out at the Mbabane Theatre Club foyer this coming Saturday, 22 September 2018. Everyone is welcome to attend and entry is FREE… you just only need to call/SMS/Whatsapp you name
on 7825 4146 to secure your seat. The event will start at 10am until 12 noon. It is a great platform to network over light snacks and meet people in the Arts.
